Shobhna Desai is an accomplished creative personality. Before Shobhna Desai Productions came into existence, she has been a renowned theatre person and has a string of success to her credit. She acted & produced several plays in Gujarati. These were very successful and were well received by the audience. She has over the years gained immense knowledge and a deep insight into all the spheres of production of both theatre and television serials. She has also developed a keen intuition in spotting talent which is so apparent in her theatre and Television productions. She is responsible for the production of Country’s first bilingual daily serial namely “Sapna na vavetar” and “Ek mahal ho sapno ka” which was aired over Sony TV & First Daily Soap on Satellite bilingual.

Out of our various plays, “Aandhlo Paato” and “Action Replay” were made into major Bollywood Blockbuster Films, “Aakhein” starring Amitabh Bachchan and “Action Replay” respectively by well-Known producer-director Vipul Shah, which earned a huge positive response world-wide. Shobhna Desai and Vipul Shah have worked together for many years. In the above mentioned movies, she was creatively involved in the production of these films.
Hindi Serials
Shobhna Desai has contributed a lot towards the growth and the popularity of the Hindi Television Industry. She has also been the one who provided a platform for a number of Theatre Actors to perform and make a name for themselves in the Hindi Television Industry through the Epic Show “Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka” on ‘Sony Tv’ channel. She has produced a huge number of excellent Hindi Tv Serials.
Gujarati Serials
After her huge success in the Theatre Industry Shobhna Desai moved on to produce Gujarati Serials on Gujarat Doordarshan and produced many shows.
Feature films & Web Series
Shobhna Desai Productions produced and distributed its first Marathi feature film called ‘KHO KHO’ directed by Kedar Shinde & and enacted by legendary personality of Marathi Cinema like Bharat Jadhav. It acclaimed appreciation at the box-office and has featured on Zee Talkies and Zee Marathi channels.
After this long journey in the Television and Theatre Industry, Shobhna Desai Productions is launching its first Hindi feature film in near future with a renowned setup. Shobhna Desai has plans to create and produce quality content for OTT platforms. In its intention in the same vein, Production house is working on projects for regional feature films, movies for OTT platforms. It promises to continue delivering entertainment in the best story telling form. Based on the core strength, the Company is poised for an impressive growth in the years to come.
