The serial represents the ancient story of Ram-Sita with a new perspective on it. The plot revolves around the introduction of characters adjacently to the characters of Ramayan. It is interesting how the two different eras, lifestyle, thoughts and characters of two different time periods have been blended into one reflective story of this serial. Raju initially opens up with an attitude that reflects the attributes of Ravana in him. Gradually, he turns into the mirror image of Ram and along with Nandini they struggle to find solace. All the characters in the serial try to showcase the victory of good over bad as per the morale of Ramayan. The serial is an inspiring motivation to society to grow over biases and corruption.
